Coaching is incredibly fun and rewarding. AYSO offers great training programs to help you learn to be a coach, and improve your coaching skills through the years.

One critical part of training is called Safe Haven. This teaches you some of the safety aspects of coaching, both for yourself and your players, and helps to protect you legally under the Safe Haven Act. You can take safe haven at a coaching class, or you can take it online here.

Coach Training Day

All coaches are required to attend a coach training class. Dates are:

• August 13, Coach Training for all ages, Cesar Chavez School, 8 am - 4 pm
• August 14, Continued coach training for Under-14 and higher age groups, Cesar Chavez School, 8 am - 4 pm
