NewsCongratulations to tournament winners!Under-16 Boys won the area championship with a score of 4-3 in double-overtime. The Under-14 Boys Green Ganadores also won the area championship! They beat the Palo Alto #1 team by a score of 4-0! They advance to the section tournament in Foster City December 10-11. The coach of the Portola Valley team that took 3rd place had this to say, “Your team was a pleasure to play against. They played fair and clean, and with better sportsmanship than many other teams.” The Under-14 Girls Pink Pumas had a good showing at the area tournament, with ties in all their games. Under-12 Boys Maron took 3rd place in the area tournament, and just barely lost to the championship team in the semi-finals by a score of 2-1. Under-12 Girls Blue Blazers also had a respectable showing at the area tournament, with ties in all their games. They were the only team to tie the team that eventually won the championship. Boys and Girls Club Futsal Coming!Signup now for the Boys and Girls Club winter futsal league. Space is limited. The season begins the 3rd week in January and continues until mid-March. Cost is free for club members, and $25 to become a member if you are not one. Ages are 6 - 14. Both the East Palo Alto and Menlo Park clubs will be hosting separate leagues.
